Hyundai Kona Hybrid 2024 review: New low-emissions small SUV takes on Toyota Corolla Cross HEV!

The 2024 Hyundai Kona has settled into Australian showrooms, but that doesn't mean the second-generation small SUV has run out of tricks. In fact, it has two up its proverbial sleeve: an all-new Hybrid powertrain option and a redesigned fully Electric alternative.

That's right; while the original Kona offers buyers the choice between internal-combustion engines (ICE) and an electric vehicle (EV), its successor adds one more option to the mix: a low-emissions series-parallel hybrid that attempts to offer them the best of both worlds.
