Can you duct clean after you duct seal? Does that mess up the sealant?
A couple of years ago Brendin said in a video that it is better to clean your ductwork before you seal your ductwork with Aeroseal. Cleaning the dust and debris out of your ductwork will help the Aeroseal duct sealant to stick to the ductwork.

However, if you are wanting to clean your duct work after you seal, you don't need to worry about the sealant not staying in place. Brendin explains that the duct sealant is extremely durable. He pressure tested ductwork that had been sealed six years prior to a duct cleaning and it was just as sealed as it was six years earlier.
