Synopsis:
The short film depicts a man standing on the edge of a cliff, crying as though he has lost someone dear to him. As he kneels on the ground, he clutches a photograph in his hands, touching it gently as tears continue to fall from his eyes. Suddenly, a gust of wind picks up the photo and carries it away from the man's grasp, and it floats toward the camera. The audience can see that the photo bears the words "till death do us part." The short film leaves the viewer with a sense of loss and sadness, wondering about the backstory of the man and the person he has lost.

About The Process:
Custom character (self portrait) - Groomed in Metahuman and rendered real-time in Unreal Engine, animation in unreal engine and maya, post production in after effects.
The self portrait character process started from 3d scanning the person, then cleaning up the 3d model (retopo), then importing the 3d face to unreal engine then running it through metahuman for grooming, custom clothing/props and fine tuning, then exporting the unreal rig to maya, rig it again in maya to ease then animation process, animating it, then exporting it again to unreal engine for realtime render.
