ESPN FC’s Sid Lowe joins Gab Marcotti and Julien Laurens to react to FC Barcelona’s recent triumphs and unpack where it’s going right for Lionel Messi and Co. Gab praises Ronald Koeman for the excellent run of results which has pushed the team to 2nd in the La Liga table, joint with Real Madrid on 40 points. However, Sid Lowe warns not to get too excited as the wins have not been in statement games, such as Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid. They discuss Koeman’s tactics, playing through the midfield rather than running through it and praise the Barca boss for a formation which makes more sense within the team. Sid has special praise for Frankie de Jong, Antoine Griezmann and Ousmane Dembele for their efforts on the pitch and for backing Koeman.
