Let’s measure for before & after lipedema and loose skin removal #lipedema #pcosprincess

After losing over 100lbs with my PCOS routine, I STILL felt like I weighed 250lbs! I had more energy, and less PCOS associated symptoms from my weight gain (no more body cysts, migraines, and sleep apnea). But - I still struggled with leg pain, swelling, and mobility issues so I was diagnosed with Lipedema.

My mobility issues are why I added a vibration plate to my PCOS routine in the first place before they became popular (which happens to be a part of a conservative treatment for lipedema). It’s so interesting how everything in my PCOS routine helped manage my lipedema and made it so after I got my diagnosis last summer, I was able to get on the list with my surgeon pretty soon shortly after and got my lipedema removal approved by insurance within it just a couple of weeks once my documentation was ready!

Anyways, my surgery is in just a few days and I wanted to be sure to get my measurements out there so it’ll be easier for me to see changes. Some people aren’t cool with measurements, which I understand, but they are the only way for me to see myself objectively.

I used “before measurements” at the start of my PCOS routine, knowing that inevitably with major change it can be difficult to see how you’ve changed - because sometimes it takes time for your brain to catch up to what is in the mirror and measurements helped me stay positive!

Swelling after surgery can take 6-12 months to resolve, so keeping this in mind I’m curious to see how it will all end up.
