[06] DIY SUGAR WAX | Let's Clarify A Few Things!

if you've been trying to make sugar wax with little success, this is the missing piece! while helpful, i find that the "cold water" test can be misleading, since water actually melts sugar (which may lead you to think that your batch is softer than it actually is.....so this is the a better way to determine when your wax is done!

RECIPE
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup fresh or bottled lime, lemon, or calamansi juice
*feel free to make a smaller or larger batch using a 2:1 ratio sugar to liquid, therefore however much sugar you use, divide that amount by half and that's how much liquid you'll need (half will be water, and half will be your acid of choice)

STORAGE: keep in a cool dry place for up to a few months
