Bucovina Golden Eagles~A Mother's Love, Devotion & Tender Tuck In! Shades Of Spilve & Klints 5.24.21

This was incredibly beautiful to watch the female golden eagle tucking her little in for a nap after a nice feeding. The eaglet is chittering away at Mom as she is gently aerating around the nest - she looks at her baby with awe - just like Spilve did with Klints. She continues to tuck her baby in and just for a couple of seconds finally the chittering stops as the chick is falling a sleep - but then Mom could not stop touching him/her and gently preens its head waking it up. There is a special bond between them that is seen already and no doubt she is enthralled with this little one. Thank you for watching!

This nest is located in a remote area of Bucovina Romania where a pair of Golden Eagles have been nesting and raising their young. The Wild Bucovina Association is a non government and non profit organization that has set up a new webcam recently to observe a rare pair of golden eagles raise their chick. This pair has been observed locally for the past 6 years. Setting up the cam has spooked the male and he has not been back to the nest for the past several days.The female is hunting and taking care of their chick. Due to the sensitive nature of nest disturbance & the consequences involved, caution is advised while viewing this wild golden eagle nest.
