Etch,Cut & Polish Granite Hot Plate

https://insidemyshop.com/ I made this granite hot plate from a scrap piece of 3/8" granite tile I had laying around. It was etched in the sandblast cabinet, painted, and then sealed to protect the paint.
After cutting it to size on my tile saw I took it to my polishing station. Starting with a 50-grit diamond pad I worked my way up to 1200 grit for a final polish. It takes some time to polish but the results are worth it.
Now my wife has a Halloween hot plate to use for her pots & pans.
