How to REMOVE AND RESEAL THE ENGINE OIL PAN (SUMP) | Porsche Boxster 986
If you want to buy an "I AM THE WARRANTY" shirt OR if this saved you a good deal of time and/or money and want to buy me a coffee or a beer, you can do those things right here: https://ko-fi.com/helpmediy
I noticed a small leak from my oil pan so I wanted to reseal the gasket to stop the leak. Not hard at all and now no more leak! Unfortunately I did find some bad stuff in the bottom of the pan once I had it off :(
You will probably want to go ahead and do a complete oil change at this point since you need to drain all of the oil out to take the pan out.
