Against all odds - A film by Navin M Raheja

Like most of us, tigers go through various ups and downs in their lives too. Today we will focus on a particular tiger family in the central India forest. We have been tracking these tigers for well over two years now, and this family has seen it all, death, hope, anxiety, and all the hope life is made of. It is an unbelievable shock not only for a happy family but also for the numerous visitors for Bandhavgarh who shared magical tigress memories of Jhurjhura and cubs. 'All is not well' for this tiger family, with the fact that two of its members already died and the third has just escaped from the enclosed.

We showed how one of the most popular tigers of India- the Jhurjhura tigress of Bandhavgarh National Park met an unexpected end, and how her three cubs were left at the tender mercies of fate. And how, after days of efforts by the forest department, the cubs were finally located. While one of the cubs subsequently died, the remaining two found a haven within this enclosure, set up near the waterhole of Jhurjhura. Things were going fine for the two cubs.
