Charlie Kirk Assassination: The Alleged Murder Weapon Doesn't Fire .30-06 Ammunition.

Both versions of the Mauser model 98 ( Gewehr 98 and Karabiner 98) use 7.92x57mm (8mm Mauser) ammunition. Unless the rifle was specifically re-chambered for .30-06 it would not fire a .30-06 round. Either the rifle was re-chambered or the recovered bullet was not a .30-06 round.
