Nyonya Cassava / Tapioca Kuih (Cake) - The Easiest Way to Make this Amazing Dessert 【水蒸娘惹木薯糕的最简单方法】

Welcome to the Mah Family (Kitchen) Channel. Today, I'm going to be making Steamed Nyonya Cassava/Tapioca Kuih (Cake)! What is cassava? It is a woody shrub found in tropical and subtropical regions. The root which is starchy, fibrous and packed of carbohydrates; it is edible and healthy. It is called yuca in the United States. My recipe will make this Malay/Nyonya kuih semi-soft, chewy and fragrant. It has an inviting aroma from the coconut milk, pandan and banana leaves. More importantly it’s extremely easy to make and it’s super delicious. So let's get cooking!

Ingredients / 材料 :
- 500g of grinded tapioca / 500克磨碎的木薯

- 1/2 teaspoon of salt / 1/2茶匙盐
- 200mL of coconut milk / 200毫升椰奶

- 1 pandan leaf / 1片香兰叶
