Wide open cosmetic pouch / pencil case with clasp frame | How to start and finish sewing the frame

Hello, this time I make a small pouch with clasp frame🥰 The finished size of the bag is W 19 cm, H 6 cm, D 7 cm.

The outer fabric of the body is sewn by 3 pieces of fabric together and decorated with lace trim.

The metal clasp frame I choose for this bag is straight with free feet, which means the feet of the frame stay unfixed with the fabric.

This kind of straight frame is perfect for making small bags e.g. cosmetic pouches or pencil cases. The pattern is also very easy to make. I explained in the video how to make the pattern for such frames.
