Fuji Dynamic Range Settings DO Apply to RAW Files
Hello everyone,
Hope you are all doing well.
This video is a correction of my last video. In my last video I compared the dynamic range settings on Fuji X-T2 and I said the dynamic range settings only apply to JPEG files but not RAW files. I have to admit I made a mistake. Many viewers of my last video suggest recovering highlight on the RAW files then compare. I did it today and then found something different. After I bring down highlight, I do see the RAW file taken with dynamic range 400% retains better details and colors than the RAW file taken with dynamic range 100% did. So the experiment shows the dynamic range settings does apply to RAW files, but just not showing up right off the bat.
