ames Tavernier reckons the only way is up for Rangers after slamming their Norwegian nadir.

The seething Ibrox skipper lashed out at his team-mates in the wake of last week’s new Europa League low in Bergen.

Tavernier could barely disguise his anger as he berated the “disgraceful” showing in the 3-0 loss to SK Brann.

But things have taken a turn for the better since then, with new boss Danny Rohl injecting a fresh mood of optimism into the Gers camp after overseeing back-to-back wins against Kilmarnock and Hibs.

The German views both those victories as small step forward for his new side — but Rangers could make a major leap at Hampden on Sunday if they can find a way past Celtic to reach the Premier Sports Cup final.
