In this video I show you 8 amazing GoPro (Hero 8) Tricks/Effects!

Trick 1: Restart
If you press on your GoPro (Hero 8) the record and mode button for around 10 seconds simultaneously the GoPro (Hero 8) restarts itself. Like that you don't have to pull out the battery anymore if your camera freezes.

Trick/Effect 2: Dolly Zoom Boomerang
The Dolly Zoom Boomerang is a really nice effect you can not only get with your GoPro (Hero 8), but also with any other camera. I show you in the video more detailed how to get this amazing camera effect.

Trick 3: Clamp
The more different camera angles you use in your cinematic GoPro (Hero 8) videos, the better they will look like. With one of GoPros newest accessories you get the possibility to mount your GoPro (Hero 8) almost anywhere. This accessory allows a wide range of possible camera angles you can use to make your GoPro (Hero 8) videos look better.

Trick/Effect 4: Warp Lapse?
I bet you know this situation that you want to make a time lapse with your GoPro (Hero 8) but you want to see the result immediately as you don't want to wait until you import your pictures to the computer. Of course you could just change your settings on the GoPro Hero 8 to the Time Lapse Video mode, but I think if you instead choose the Time Warp 30x setting your time lapse will look better on the GoPro Hero 8. You can see in this tutorial the results and decide for yourself whether you like it.

Trick 5: Indoor
The GoPro (Hero 8) was not made to film indoor videos and it also struggles in low light. I still managed to get cinematic indoor footage with my GoPro Hero 8 for a client of mine and in this GoPro (Hero 8) tutorial I share with you my top 3 tricks to get high quality indoor videos.

Trick 6: Licking
Have you ever had annoying drops on your GoPro (Hero 8)? If so, you could just lick your lens to get rid of the on your camera. If you have a towel use that obviously, because this trick is a bit gross.

Trick 7: Safety
If you are traveling there is always the possibility that you get robbed on the street by a motor bike which is passing by. To prevent that, always use the wrist band which almost every GoPro accessory has. Like that it's not anymore possible to take away your GoPro (Hero 8). Also, if you are not using your GoPro and you don't have a bag, hide it under your clothes, so you are not an obvious target for robberies.
