In this video I am showing you 8 common GoPro (Hero 8) mistakes and how to fix them.

Battery Life:
GoPros are not famous for their battery life but with 3 little tricks you can extend it: Turn GPS off, turn Quick Capture off and also turn the wifi on your GoPro (Hero 8) off. That's it!

Noise:
If you move your hands on your selfie stick on your GoPro (Hero 8) you will get very annoying noise, but that's a very common mistake people make, including me. Another mistake to avoid is covering your microphones on your GoPro (Hero 8). If you do that your audio will sound horrible as you can hear in this GoPro tutorial.

Creativity:
Another big GoPro mistake is being too less creative. The GoPro (Hero 8) is such a small camera which can be mounted almost everywhere, so make use of that. Mount your GoPro (Hero 8) where ever it is possible to get some nice looking angles and try out GoPro (Hero 8) shots you don't see in every video!

Red Light:
This mistake is one which probably everybody has made who owns a GoPro (Hero 8). I show you in this GoPro tutorial an example and I am sure you will recognize the mistake. I also show you in this video how to avoid this GoPro mistake and why those red lights on your GoPro (Hero 8) are important.

Stopping:
This mistake is one I make very often and it can be avoided so easily. Usually when I edit my GoPro videos I think that I could have filmed a scene for a few seconds longer, but for some reason I stopped the video too early. Don't make the same mistake as I do. Film your GoPro (Hero 8) videos always 5 seconds longer than you think it is necessary and you are on the safe side.

At Home:
Always when you leave your GoPro (Hero 8) at home you experience something crazy you would have liked to film. So never leave your GoPro (Hero 8) at home, always bring it with you. It's a very small camera anyway.

Cleaning:
Another GoPro (Hero 8) mistake which can be avoided so easily is leaving your camera dirty. Especially if you use your GoPro (Hero 8) in the saltwater it is necessary to clean it afterwards. Like that you can extend the life of your GoPro (Hero 8) a bit!

Too Shy:
Being too shy is probably the most common mistake for vloggers. I know it is weird to talk to your GoPro (Hero 8) in public, as everybody is starring at you. But you just have to get used to it and in the end you are probably never going to see those people who were starring again.
