PC Prices are increasing, and I'm done.
In this video, I’m basically saying PC DIY has never been weirder: I’ve covered GPUs and PC hardware news for years through crypto mining chaos, price spikes, and shortages, but the current AI-driven demand is on another level, with $5,000 graphics cards and RAM prices doubling, tripling, or even quadrupling, and honestly I’m done making that kind of doom-and-gloom GPU pricing news the main focus of my channel. Going forward, I’m shifting hard into reviews and how-to content, with a big emphasis on mobile hardware like gaming laptops, productivity laptops, foldables, handheld gaming PCs, and maybe VR, because those categories have real competition, meaningful design differences, cooling and performance variability, and displays that can be wildly different from product to product. I also point out that the discrete GPU market feels like Nvidia versus Nvidia, with AMD barely competing and Intel still trying to break in, so unless there’s something genuinely interesting, I’m not trying to be yet another CPU/GPU review channel when outlets like Hardware Unboxed already do it well.

Bottom line: expect a lot more laptop and handheld coverage (especially around CES), higher-quality review-style videos, and only occasional PC DIY news when it’s actually worth your time—because with AI driving prices and the GPU market lacking real competition, I’m pretty much done letting GPU news dominate this channel.
