The Four Stages of Surrender - Genesis 43:1-34 (9.30.20) - Dr. Jordan N. Rogers
Dr. Jordan Rogers continues preaching through The Book of Genesis in this sermon from Genesis 43:1-34 entitled, "The Four Stages of Surrender."
God’s Grace is supplied to sinners who surrender.
What does it look like to surrender to the Lordship of Jesus in your life? In Genesis 43, we see a picture of what true surrender looks like, and in fact we see the four stages of surrender as they develop and finally blossom. In Genesis 43, the sons of Israel find themselves broken and destitute before Joseph, the lord of Egypt. When they humble themselves and accept full responsibility for their actions, they are reward with gracious reception.
The following is a sermon from Genesis 43:1-34 and below you will find the video recording and a sermon outline to help you follow along as you watch. I hope this study tool helps you grow in your love for the Lord Jesus and in your obedience to Him.
