EASY DIY OIL FREE NOURISHING SPRAYS | LOOSE HAIR OR LOCKS | FOR ALL LOCK AGES (BABY TO MATURE)

Watch this video to learn about multiple oil free nourishing hair sprays that I use on my starter DIY microlocks locks daily. They really nourish my microlocs and prevent my hair from drying out quickly.

What's the importance of oil free loc sprays? The importance is really for starter (aka baby) locs. At this point in the loc journey, it's generally best to avoid hair products that encourage unraveling of the locs and/or slippage since the locs are not yet 'mature'. I started off using just water in my locs, but as I expected it left them feeling hydrated while they were still wet/damp, however the water evaporates quickly and then leaves my hair feeling dry and brittle in addition to resulting in a flaking scalp.

With inspiration from 'The Knotty Truth: Creating Beautiful Locks on a Dime' by Michele M. George, I started using easy, simple, DIY nourishing sprays on my locs and they are truly amazing! My hair feels healthy and nourished and my scalp doesn't flake nor itch. I share the different sprays I use and explain how to make them yourself easily at home.
