In this video I'll be taking a look at the Ceriatone Centura.

The Centura is Ceriatones take on the classic Klon circuit that has become one of the most coveted pedals on the market.

The original Klon was produced in the 90s but has since been discontinued. The discontinuation and rarity of the original units coupled with the A-list user list has meant prices on the resale market often fetch £3000 and above which puts them at roughly 50 times the original sale price.

You can find original Klons in the possession of John Mayer, Joe Perry, Jeff Beck and many more.

I personally love Klon pedals and I've consistently had one on every pedalboard for the last 5 years. The Centura is my first great Klon clone that I've owned and apparently, it's every bit as good as the real deal.

I have never played a real one so I can't make a direct comparison, but I love the Centura and it has so many tones that inspire me when playing.

In the video I am plugged into the Blackstar Studio 10 6L6 which is mic'd with an Lewitt Audio LCT440 condenser mic. The have some additional overdrive from the Tate FX Antares. I am using an early 80s Tokai Goldstar Strat and a Stanford Crossroad Thinline 35 as my guitars.
