Snow Day at Beech Mtn, NC/Bayou Smokehouse in Banner Elk, NC (Review)

Today, we took a drive up to Beech Mountain, and had lunch at The Bayou Smokehouse, in Banner Elk, NC. We had been disappointed by the much smaller than predicted snowfall that we got at home, so we went up to Beech where we knew there would be some.

Beech Mountain receives an average annual snowfall of 80 inches per year, more than many northern areas of the country.
