How to fix a dishwasher that runs but doesn't clean

If your dishwasher doesn't clean but it runs there is a chance you can save it. I have a tennant that thought I should buy a new dishwasher because they felt it was too old. Far from reality, the dishwasher needed to be properly used and because it was not properly used it could not perfom as it should.
