With Parrot Rescues and Bird Sanctuaries full throughout the U.S., where will these Special Needs Rescued Cockatoos go at the Chloe Sanctuary? What will happen to them is something I think about and all the other rescued parrots in rescues as their rescuers grow too old to care for them. Breeders and Pet Shops continue to sell to people that are not qualified to handle these Wild Animals. It's almost impossible to keep these Wild Animals "Parrots" happy and healthy in captivity. Parrots start to develop undesirable behaviors, especially during adolescence, and their humans become discouraged and desperate to rehome them to find Nobody Wants Them! The Parrot Crisis has become an Epidemic.
