How to Wear The Western Trend This Winter!

These boots are not only beautiful, high-quality western boots... they also hold a lot of sentimental value for me. In fact, my very first gift from my husband, Chris, was a pair of Lucchese boots.

Very soon after Chris and I started dating in 2005, he invited me to Texas to meet his mom and stepfather. He also wanted to take me to my very first rodeo... When in Texas, right? So, he told me it was really important we dress the part... that *everyone* at the rodeo dresses in western wear from head to toe. We stopped off at a western wear shop, and he told me to pick out any boots I wanted for the rodeo. I ended up picking out the “Savannah” boot by Lucchese, which I still own to this day! We bought the boots, and I got a few other western pieces, then we made our way to the San Antonio rodeo...

There I was decked out in a cowboy hat, snap-button western shirt, blue jeans, western belt, and my Lucchese boots... and, of course, hardly anyone at the rodeo was actually wearing head-to-toe western gear. Chris had duped me! Fortunately, I have a pretty decent sense of humor and just went with it.

Since that experience, these awesome boots have taken me to multiple rodeos, ranches, dance halls, chuck wagon dinners, you name it...for more than two decades.
