Joe Biden Executive Orders | QT Politics

Joe Biden was inaugurated as President of the United States on January 20th, 2021. After the inauguration, the new president got to work on his first day, signing an astounding 17 executive orders, presidential memoranda, and agency directives, 9 of which are direct reversals of Trump policy.

He tweeted, using a non-suspended Twitter account,

“There is no time to waste when it comes to tackling the crises we face. That’s why today, I am heading to the Oval Office to get right to work delivering bold action and immediate relief for American families.”

While Biden campaigned as a moderate, who prefers unity, cooperation and compromise, his actions on his first day as president sent a clear signal of how he intends to operate.

Of course, it’s not just the number of actions, but their contents that really matter. So, in this video, I’m going to break down all 17 of Biden’s day one executive actions.

Do they indicate that Biden will be a leader who prefers moderation, and a ‘return to normal’? Or do they paint a far more imposing portrait?

Will he be a president of change?
