Riverside Shopping Centre, Evesham UPDATE (and what an update!)

This space has been a key priority for me and one of the reasons I ran for election back in 2024. It’s been a dark cloud looming over Evesham and has been a major part of our town centres decline. Today, our story changes.
Thank you to all who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring this to fruition. The Riverside shopping Centre, including properties in the Market square and Bridge St, are now in our ownership, with thanks to Wychavon.
This pivotal moment brings back confidence, opportunity, and hope that our town can thrive again.

Now it’s secured, change won’t happen overnight. There will be challenges. Decisions have to be financially viable. There will be obstacles and it will take time.

And it will take all of us.

Because buildings alone don’t create a space alone: PEOPLE MAKE A PLACE.

So if we want our town to look better, feel better, and thrive again - we need to back it. Use it. Support it. Take pride in it.

This is our chance to retell Evesham’s story - not one of decline, but of resilience. Not of being left behind, but of stepping forward.

We’ve been through a period of change. Now, we begin to rise.

This is Evesham raising the bar.
