California store worker killed trying to stop suspected shoplifters — 4 years after brother was murdered outside home

A California worker was intentionally run over multiple times by at least three suspects who allegedly stole $10 worth of face masks from his brother’s store — four years after his other brother was beaten to death.

Kourosh “Steve” Yaghoubi was working at the family-owned Giant Discount Store in South El Monte, Calif. when he confronted a man he believed was stealing from the store on Wednesday.

The unidentified shopper went into the store just after 12 p.m. and asked Yaghoubi about a box of masks, ABC Los Angeles reported.
