ARGENTINAS CITY OF THE DEAD - RECOLETA CEMETERY TOUR & SHOCKING STORIES! 😱

In this video we explore the wealthy district of Recoleta and specifically we explore the famous and intriguing cemetery of Recoleta. This cemetery is like no other we have ever seen, it is a place for the wealthy and famous people here in Argentina. The mausoleums are incredible architectural masterpieces created individually for the wealthy families and individuals who lay to rest within them.

It is an experience not to be missed when visiting Buenos Aires and we were both blown away by it’s sheer size and the rows of incredible mausoleums, it was fascinating to see it all but we advise getting a tour guide if you don’t speak Spanish as it is a real cemetery and so there is not anything written in English. Luckily Kirsty did a bit of research online the night before we visited so she knew a few things to look out for during our visit, although finding it all wasn’t easy!

There are some really fascinating and of course tragic stories, within these walls and although it is really interesting to walk around this city of the dead it is also quite eerie at times and definitely a unique experience.
