Making Oatmeal Macaroons

These sweet oatmeal cookies are a snap to make and oh-so good. I found the recipe in an old cookbook put out by the Junior League of Baton Rouge and modified it slightly. They called them "macaroons" but we just called them delicious! These cookies are big on oatmeal flavor with a little cinnamon and nutmeg to add a little spice.
