Water Bath Canning Peaches - Raw Pack Method

I canned my first batch of Peaches for the season using the Raw Pack method. Raw Packing peaches works fine, however the fruit does float in the jar and personally I prefer to fill up the jar with fruit, so the next batch will be hot packed.
I trend towards the Light to Medium Syrup personally.
HOWEVER Most would use a heavy syrup for peaches
For a Heavy Syrup the ratio is 5 cups water & 3 1/4 cups sugar for a 9 pint load , or 7 3/4 cups water & 5 1/4 cups sugar for a 7 quart load.
For a Medium Syrup the ratio is 5 1/4 cups water & 2 1/4 cups sugar for a 9 pint load, or 8 1/4 cups water & 3 3/4 cups sugar for a 7 quart load.
