In this week’s Best of BobBlast, we are starting off in my studio during our last Studio Mentor Workshop for 2021!

In this workshop, I act as a mentor, rather than a “workshop instructor.” There are seven painters in this four day Mentor Workshop - seven very diversified voices and painting styles - In the video, you will see various themes and well-thought-out series of paintings - and get to meet the artists who are committed to their work!

The Mentor Workshop are like retreats… and are fun and highly productive - lots of painting, good networking and camaraderie! We also have 5 day Loosen Up Studio Workshops and 4 day Figure Workshops with an undraped and costumed model.

In prepping for attending a workshop like my Studio Mentor Workshop, it will help if you do the following:
Have a plan. Decide what you are going to paint. Have a goal.
Bring the materials you are planning to work with.
Clear your calendar so you will not have distractions that will keep you from doing your work.
