The Untold Story of Homelessness | Alan Graham | TEDxYouth@Austin
Behind every perceived notion of homelessness, there is a story, and Alan Graham has made it his mission to alter these assumptions and bring light to these individuals. Founding the social outreach nonprofit Mobile Loaves & Fishes in Austin, Texas, Alan provides food and clothing, and promotes dignity for homeless men and women. Today with the support of more than 19,000 volunteers, Mobile Loaves & Fishes is the largest prepared feeding program to the homeless and working poor in Austin. With over 5 million meals served over 18 years, everyday Alan strives to empower communities to change the way we view homeless.
