A Message to You on the 10-Year Anniversary of Cure Sanfilippo Foundation

This month celebrates 10 years since we established Cure Sanfilippo Foundation, after our daughter Eliza was diagnosed with Sanfilippo Syndrome. Ten years ... it’s hard to believe.

At this milestone, it felt natural to connect with you again. To celebrate the progress you’ve enabled and to keep the ultimate goal in sight: effective and available treatments for all children with Sanfilippo Syndrome. For every child. For every type of Sanfilippo.

And while we aren’t there yet, you help us move closer every day. You’ve enabled significant progress to happen in pursuit of that ultimate goal.

The following pages are a look back at the tremendous progress and activity that your generous support made possible.

The reality is that this work has happened for one reason, and one reason only: you.

On a personal note, it has been incredibly difficult to see the day-to-day progression of the disease in our daughter Eliza, but we celebrate all she can do. Sometimes it might just be a glimmer in her eyes that lets us know she’s happy or enjoying something. We love her with all of our heart.

We are forever grateful for you and your kind support. You are bringing HOPE to so many families. Thank you!
