STOCKHOLM WALK 4K: Grev Turegatan - Humlegårdsgatan - Nybrogatan - Ingmar Bergmans

Grev Turegatan is a street on Östermalm in Stockholm . The street starts at Birger Jarlsgatan in the south, crosses Linnégatan and Karlavägen , among others, and ends at Valhallavägen in the north. The street got its current name in 1858.
Humlegårdsgatan , is a street in the district Östermalm in Stockholm's inner city with a stretch from Engelbrektsplan in the northwest, past Humlegården to Östermalmstorg in the southeast. At Humlegården it is crossed by Sturegatan . Humlegårdsgatan is together with Storgatan one of Östermalm's oldest streets and is mentioned as early as 1646 as Humblegårdzgathan. At Humlegårdsgatan 1-9 is Stockholm's oldest market hall, Östermalm's market hall , built in 1888 according to the architects Isak Gustaf Clason's (1856-1930) and Kasper Salin's (1856-1919) drawings.
Nybrogatan remains a mostly residential street, it also hosts offices, stores, cafés and restaurants and in recent years have seen an increase in the number of commercial establishments.
Norrmalmstorg (historically Packaretorget and also Fiskartorget ) is a square between Hamngatan and Smålandsgatan on Norrmalm in central Stockholm . The square got its current name in 1853. Here you will find, among other things, Citypalatset , Svenska Lifs hus , MEA-huset , Nobis Hotel and Palmhuset with café and Pressbyråkiosk . The Djurgård line tramway has one of its end stops at the square. Norrmalmstorg is also a prestigious address for many companies, and among other things, the Swedish head office for Danske Bank can be found here .

On the former Kreditbanken 's building on the east side of the square is a calendar clock which, in addition to the time, shows the day of the week, month and year. The watch was manufactured by GW Linderoth's watch factory and originally sat on the house facade above the watch factory on Drottninggatan 28 from the end of the 19th century until 1968 when the house was demolished. The watch was reassembled in 1975 at its current location.
