TallBoys and Grand Slam
Invented by Sir Barnes Wallis, the Tallboy and Grand Slam, were flown from RAF Woodhall Spa in Lincolnshire. RAF 617 Squadron flying from Woodhall Spa and Bardney in Lincolnshire, used these bombs to sink the Tirpitz 12th Nov 1944.
