Snowy Frozen Trees and Crunchy Snow | Relaxing Walk

Walking in cold and snowy forested area that is located just 3 kilometers from Rovaniemi city center in Lapland, Finland. Ounasvaara, or Ounas Hill, is a year-round recreation area, with marked and maintained hiking trails, downhill or cross-country ski and other sports activities.

It is a great place for short day hikes with some nice viewpoints along the trails. This walk starts from Ounasvaara viewpoint near Lapland Hotels Sky and follows the winter trail to Ounasvaara view tower.
