Opening the door to the language of music | Duncan Lorien | TEDxCaFoscariU
This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Duncan Lorien teaches us how to understand and play music with a simple and effective method…
Duncan Lorien is a recording artist, composer and educator, who travels over 150,000 miles each year teaching a simple and revolutionary approach to playing, reading and composing music in his Understanding of Music Seminars™. Duncan wants to help open the door to the language of music for as many people as possible by showing how most musical concepts including scales and chords can actually be learned in minutes as opposed to many hours of study.
About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
