Hyena clan cautious of challenging a very young male lion

Hyenas are often afraid of male lions. Male lions are larger and more powerful than hyenas, and they are known to be aggressive towards hyenas, especially when it comes to protecting their territory or their cubs. Male lions have been observed chasing hyenas away from kills and even attacking them if they get too close. This fear and aggression between male lions and hyenas is a common behaviour in the wild.
