Opening Day 2021 - Trotting Session - River Swale - Fawdington

For my first river fishing session of the 21-22 season I opt for a fast shallow swim trotting maggots on the River Swale at Fawdington.

The Fawdington stretch is run by Helperby and Brafferton Club and the water and is available to fish on day tickets. Tickets can be obtained from several outlets and also on http://dayticket.co.uk for the sum of £5. An honesty box is also provided at the farm.

In this episode I talk you through my approach to the swim, the signs I look for and the changes I make to my chubber float rig whilst trotting for dace.
