Diesel Purge on my 1982 Mercedes 300D OM617 Diesel. Smoother? More Power? Quieter?

Made of somewhere between 61-100% Naptha with a cetane booster making up the remainder, Liqui moly diesel purge is certainly a strong solvent.
I've seen videos of this stuff supposedly curing all kinds of poor running conditions, let's give it a try and see what will it do to a fairly healthy engine though?

This will also work on nearly any mechanically injected diesel.
The OM616, OM617, OM602, OM603, OM605, OM606, and probably more mercedes engines.
The 4BT, 6BT, Cummins whether they have Bosch p7100s or the VE or VP pumps.
It will also work on the 6.9 and 7.3 IDI engines,
As well as a large selection of the VW TDI engines.

I'm unsure how it would work on newer electronically injected engines, I don't have anything that new so I wouldn't recommend trying it without doing your research.
