On the Minnehaha - Lennie Gallant

South African sailor Kirsten Neuschäfer is the only female entrant in the solo Golden Globe Race around the world, using only traditional navigation. At the time of writing this, she is fighting to hold on to her first place position in the homestretch, despite having deviated from her course to save a fellow competitor whose boat sank! Her boat is named MINNEHAHA, which means The Laughing Waters. Kirsten unexpectedly spent a year on PEI, Canada, getting her boat ready during COVID with help and support from some Islanders who appear in this video.
