This hair is not any different from any other body part. Only thing is it is little most area. So naturally the hairs in his area are thick and more curly. So whenever the hair is thick and when we trim it when it starts growing it starts poking the moist skin it tends to give lot of irritation. So when the hairs poke into the skin, it causes folliculitis. This is that is called as psuedofolliculitis. It is not happening because of an infection internally but because of an inflammation. So whenever you can shave that area carefully there is no harm, the only thing is if you have a tendency to get boils or rashes like this, then keep shaving frequently. Don't allow the hair to grow long and allow to kink and poke the skin. So either you maintain a long hair or no hair, don’t leave it in between. Do not allow the hair to grow long and cut and poke your skin . Or you leave it so long that it is not kinking or hurting your skin. So either you leave it so long there or no hair don’t remove it . That in the simplest way if at all you are not comfortable with the hair then you can undergo laser hair reduction. It is a parts of your bed just like how you do last for the face or arms or chest or back, there is no arm. It is the same thing. Any reduction in laser is the permanent reduction. Around 70 to 80 of the hairs can be permanently reduced. The thickness, growth and the number reduces it may have some fine hairs in it. We have to have systemic antibiotics and rule but any other infections. So sometimes when that happens is the fungus can give you a boil like reaction. So you have to check if it is a psuedofolliculitis or if it is a fungal or a parasite infection or any other allergic reaction. So that is how you can take care of the itching after shaving the area.
