Eating Indian food with my dad is one of my favorite things to do. He was one of the first people to believe in me and my dream to travel the world for a living. So any day I get to share one of my passions with him is a good day!

For this video, I partnered up with Bright Cellars, a company that sells incredible wines. I’ve been a wine lover my entire adult life, and it’s a passion that my father and I share.

Bright Cellars takes the mystery out of finding great wines by giving you a quick quiz on their site. It asks you all about your favorite flavors and tastes. Once you’re done, they pick from a selection of wines from small vineyards around the world and send them straight to your door!

The wines come with education cards that teach you everything from how to use a corkscrew, to which temperature to serve your wine at, to how to properly store your wine! They also teach you about the best pairings for each wine and each wine’s origin!

We got Dancing Juice, Crypsis, Cactus Park, Mojave Rain, and more. We’d be going with the Mojave Rain Cabernet Sauvignon from California to pair with our Indian feast from Bombay Darbar, my favorite local Indian restaurant. It was full-bodied and very flavorful!

Our spread included chicken tikka masala, chana masala, aloo gobi, saag paneer, garlic naan, paneer naan, and papadum. They’re the basics, which my dad loves! We started with the garlic naan and the chicken tikka masala, which was insane.

The saag paneer was also incredible, as was the stuffed paneer naan. While we ate, we talked about the Indian restaurant I’m going to be opening in Miami soon! I want to have a wide variety of dishes from different Indian states.

I’m also planning trips to Dubai and England very soon to explore the Indian cuisine in these locations! I also have some loose plans of cities I want to hit up when I travel back to India!

After I finished the naan, I mixed the chicken tikka masala gravy with my rice. It was so creamy and full of flavor! Then, because we had no desserts, I ended my meal with papadum with some tamarind chutney!

What a great afternoon of eating Indian food with my dad! And if you’re familiar with the Indian food scene in the UK or Dubai, please drop a comment below and give me some suggestions of where I should go!
