When Adele asked to have me accompany her on the Tiny Desk concert, I didn't hesitate. We performed her famous, 'Someone Like You.' And I think the banjo killed the sound.

For this cover, I inserted myself into Adele's iconic Tiny Desk performance and took over piano duties with a five-string banjo. The result lands somewhere between heartbreak, bluegrass, and an alternate universe where NPR always keeps a banjo player on standby.

Originally released in 2011, Someone Like You became one of Adele's signature songs, known for its raw emotion and unforgettable melody. Stripped down and reimagined on banjo, it takes on a whole new character while keeping the soul of the original intact.
