Combination of dal with rice or breads is an absolute favourite of every Indian!

Dal fry is one of the popular dal dishes served in the Indian restaurants. Its taste varies from the one served in the Dhabhas!

This variety of Dal is not thin and usually has a medium to thick consistency. However, you can always change the consistency by adding more water to it.

Dal fry is usually made with toor dal, onions, tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, spices, spice powders and herbs. For people who do not prefer to use ghee, can use oil instead.
