Final Day of the 2020 25002500RoadTrip! From Milwaukee to Columbus! From Lucore Automotive

To say we have been blessed with amazing weather over this trip would be a MASSIVE understatement, other than a few hours in the distant reaches of the Upper Peninsula for a late October trip it's been nothing short of AWESOME. So this day we start out just north of down town Milwaukee and turn our way south along the lake through Chicago and towards home.

Along the way we visited the Mars Cheese Castle which is... interesting. Tim found some snackies for a friend, all of us bought things we didn't need, and I personally picked up some "Reaper Cheese" which I am told was both quite spicy AND quite tasty. Certainty not a planned stop on our journey but enjoyable.

From there we made our way down the Windy City, Chicago known for having some of the worst traffic of any midwestern city but THIS year and THIS day... perfect driving conditions! All the way down Lake Shore drive with beautiful blue skies above us we really couldn't have asked for better luck. Sometimes this stuff just really turns out, well perfect.

Once we cleared Chicago and Gary Indiana it was pretty much just smooth sailing through flat land and fields all the way to home. As a road trip vlog we leave a LOT of content in these videos just to allow people to get a sense of distance and experience, hopefully you all enjoy coming along on these great american road trips with us.

And the cars? Well Tim of Tim's Enthusiast Garage has kept ahold of his Infinity J30 and it's been serving as his son Ethan's daily driver. Phil has done almost NO additional work to his Pontiac Vibe GT although there are some plans in the very near future for some upgrades and addressing little things, currently it's serving semi-daily driver duties. Daniel of Vasile Garage got home from his nearly 4500 mile round trip with us and up his Si up for sale, he's always up to something and just completed a new Civic Hatch project. Ethan is still in love with his Mercedes 300 SL, it's been to the body shop to have the left front corner repaired after the injury just before the road trip and it's ready for more fun in 2021. Kevin and the Crown Vic Police Interceptor parted ways and it's now on to a new home. The 940 Turbo Volvo Wagon? Yep I still own it, and it still does daily driver duty as well as hauling things around at the shop.

Will we do this kind of trip again? Most definitely! Where will we go next? Not sure yet, but we'll let you know!
