Rattle under the AMX hood! Something sounds bad! But we can fix it and... upgrades!

Anyone who's been paying attention to our channel knows the 1979 AMC AMX we put together over the last 2 years gets a LOT of work and a LOT of miles put on it! The Hot Rod Power Tour in 2021, and in 2022, as well as daily driver duty and several other shorter road trips the little AMC 304 V8 has performed valiantly but it sounds like we have our first part failure!

A couple days previous to this getting ready to drive the AMX home there was an... unfamiliar rattle from under the hood on startup. Popping the hood a quick inspection found our culprit. Fortunately for us this is a minor surgery to fix AND a chance to upgrade from a stock cast iron unit to a very nice new polished aluminum unit from PRW!

So here we go, back under the hood of the 79 AMX! Still many more adventures and many MANY more miles ahead for this little crazy machine, we'll of course take you along for all of them!
