Hello Sunshine wants to highlight a new era of Rom Coms. The Meet Cute series spotlights 3 emerging women and non-binary filmmakers who each created a short film inspired by a real-life Bumble meet cute story, presented by Baileys.

People are craving more rom coms and a more modern take on them – where the heroine knows her worth and is doing more than just stumbling through life looking for the perfect partner. They want a twist on the tropes, and they want their next batch of romantic comedies to be created by women and non-binary storytellers.

Sadé is a Caribbean-American filmmaker, photographer and singer from the Bronx. Her short film Ponyboi, was named one of the “Five not be missed short films” by Forbes at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival.
