Frigidaire Multimatic Belt Adjustment Testing using a Kill-a-Watt meter

When the two belts are adjusted on a Multimatic (domestic 1959 - 1964 and commercial 1965 - 1969), an invaluable tool to help understand if the tension is within the specified wattage range is a Kill-a-Watt Meter.

In this clip the meter shows the initial run sequence peak at 2500w when the motor is first activated in slow speed, and quickly drop (~370w) once the start switch switches over to run, and then back to start when the motor is switched to high spin speed (peaking around 1700w), and settling out at 550w once the rotating mechanism reaches full speed.
